I’m a fairly new owner of a 94’ 2WD Pickup and need to swap out the wheels ASAP! Really wanting to run an Enkei RPF1 but nervous of fitment. I currently have an 18x8 +35 mocked up on the front and it barely clears the suspension lock to lock with no tire and the ball joint seems like it’s only 3/4” away give or take. I like the 18” but would prefer a 17x8 (lowest offset available is +35) but not sure I’ll have the clearance everywhere I need. Any advise?

Are you checking for clearances with the suspension at full droop or is it loaded while you check?

Theres a thread on here with wheel sizes/specs/pics

I have the jack stand under the lower control arm, so mostly loaded. And I’ve been through quit a few pages and searched with no luck

If you have an 18x8 +35 and you have .75" clearance around the BJs. Then in theory you should have .25" clearance with the 17x8 +35 Because you're only subtracting an inch. You could always throw on a 5mm spacer to give you more clearance

My numbers were more of a guess and not perfect measurements. And the factory studs are too short to run a slip on spacer. Apparently this forum is a ghost town and not much help these days

You can change over to longer studs to add a spacer. Otherwise you can do some reverse mathification and measure where things will be based on the 18x8 wheel you have
