90' 2wd 4cyl main 80 amp fuse line.

    Hello,

    Check out what the previous owner did the 80amp power line going to the battery.

    They just twisted two wires to one. No wonder it couldn't start half the time. I'm not mad I'm just... surprised.

    I see no problems there. There appears to be plenty of twists on the union and theres a small layer or corrosion covering the joint. Its perfectly insulated

    Depends how tight that joint was, if it was loose it could have caused an intermittent no-start for sure. I see some heat-shrink there, I’m assuming you’re going to solder the joint then heat-shrink it? You could easily put a fuse or fuse link wire in there if you wanted.

    I was being completely sarcastic. Thats a shit union. Get rid of it and set up a new wire
