First post alert I have 4” blocks with 15x8 et20 Jeep Gambler wheels with 195/55 tires. I noticed that the driver side rear has more poke than the passenger side.
If your truck is not "crab walking" down the road when you're going straight and if the handling feels the same whether you're turning right or left, then the axle should be square. Yeah, these "seat of the pants" tests aren't exact and you might want to take close measurements/alignments to be sure. But just looking at your pics, the driver side fender flare looks smaller than the passenger side flare. But that just could be due to picture angles?
Are the pins/holes on the leafs/blocks/axle lined up right? Ive had that happen before that caused this. Bed could also be a little misaligned, and as said before the flare looks more prominent on the passenger side
My truck is like that on the front end. I figure at some point in the last 47yrs things have shifted a little bit, like perhaps from ovaled mounting holes and it needs to be realigned a little bit. Flare does look bigger on the passenger side, but the tire tread is exposed less on that side at bottom of the fender - so I'd guess bed not square to chassis
Thanks for everyone’s input. Slightly more flare on the passenger side. But wheel is sunken in more overall. Wouldn’t hurt to just run one spacer right? Jk
Yes sir. They’re all jeep gambler wheels. I checked the back of them again. All the same. No less and no more material than the others.
You could run a spacer, yes, best with extended studs, which likely means pulling the axle shaft to install. I’d try loosening the u-bolts and seeing if you can walk the axle over, one my truck there was a bit of a difference at stock ride height, not as bad as yours but I could notice it, I planned on shifting the box but when I did my blocks it was all lined up after…there is some movement in them
I know I've accidentally shifted the bed on my truck when I was hauling an unsecured kitchen sink and put a nice dent in the bed taking a hard right + shifted it in contrast to the cab alignment. Might be something along those lines.
