Hi all, as much as I am torn to do so, I am selling my 1981 Toyota Pickup 2WD long-bed. I am the second owner and have a clean title in hand. Truck has 62,000 on the rebuilt 22R motor coupled with a 5 speed manual transmission. Dual Weber carbs recently cleaned and re-jetted. Other upgrades include headers, Magnaflow exhaust, aluminum radiator, 70amp alternator, electric fuel pump and MSD electronic ignition system (sure I’m missing some things). Lowered ~3.5” up front and ~4.5” in rear on blocks and relocated Bilstein shocks, rides fantastic. Custom sound system hidden in cab, no cracks in dash, oil pressure gauge added, among other personal touches. Truck will come with second full set of white powder coated rims, two with new tires. Also a set of one piece door windows, original steering wheel, plus more. No major issues with truck whatsoever; body is straight as an arrow, no rust, but paint job isn’t the best and has spiderwebbing throughout.

$6000; not interested in trades. Truck is located in Las Vegas but I would be happy to work with someone on shipping it if need be. Thanks for looking.

Nice mini! I have the funds, but I'm in the wrong state to have that puppy. Cali sucks for the enthusiast!

    GL with the sale!

The truck is originally from Cali, it was towed out here to Vegas when I purchased it and it was registered in Cali and Arizona and titled in Arizona.

Did it come to you with the dual carbs?

I couldn't get away with that where I am. Our smog Nazis would quash that fast. Remember this, freedom is a facade. Especially in the great state of California.

The guy I got it from had it titled and registered in Arizona now that I think about it to circumvent the tyrannical government

Yeah, that makes sense. So many people in thus state do that to avoid the ridiculous BS we have here.

With my luck they'd send S.W.A.T. after me for something like that.
