So ultimately I want to do a 3.4 swap and I’ve been reading forums and asking questions for a couple of weeks now. Last night I decided on the 1” body lift and hope it will be enough to clear the 3.4 supercharged version but I really didn’t want to deal with radiator drop and whatnot so hopefully 1” will be enough and won’t cause a lot of problems.

33ACF6E1-DE8B-4715-9944-86CE6000BDDE.jpeg So interior guy has had the door panels since the 6th of September and the seat since the 14th. Wasn’t real sure when I’d get them back so I ordered the body lift last night since the seat was out. Less than an hour later he called and said I could pick up the seat and door panels today LOL. I was really impressed with the work had no idea it would turn out like this.

Don't forget your radiator mounts to the front of the truck/radiator support and not the chassis. So I'd you swap in a bigger rad you might still come across clearance problems..

Body mount kit arrived today from Energy Suspension, 1” body lift from Sky Off-road has been here for a week or so. Decided I might as well change out the mounts while doing the body lift. 33A031E3-BE68-4B51-AF03-FE77D1E2603E.jpeg A0AA1021-8460-4EE9-8283-FA1EBBF38B0A.jpeg

You have to reuse several washer per Energy Suspension plus the Sky body lift came with two different length bolts for the cab. 28C41F43-337E-4F7E-B7D6-A160F1177606.jpeg
Also you have to reuse the adapter plate bolts for the four mounts under the cab, I wired brushed them really well and wiped down the frame mounts before putting the bushings in place.

Gained a true inch in body height I really thought it might be a little more with the new body mounts as well. Checked the fan shroud for clearance and fan still clears ok. Will take it for a test drive tomorrow. No torque values in the body mount or body lift kits so I used 3/8-16 grade 8 non lubricated which came to 44 ft. lbs. 43A31E2C-37E9-4996-B0F6-88E8F470B8BD.jpeg 648A9A92-51A2-4A7F-8C94-67EDE71BB485.jpeg
