Did some interior work today. Installed the Lund Industries carpet, no heel pad and pretty light weight, would not use again. Installed new clutch and brake pedal pads, new dome light lens, sliding glass window latch. Also got a few interior panels painted and installed hope to finish that this week.

No heel pad would've been a deal breaker for me.. but new carpet always looks good.lol

It's just easier to clean/maintain when you're wearing boots.

Good to know on the carpet kit. If you're looking for floor mats, believe Husky Liners makes a floor mat that fit our trucks. I've never seen them in person but they exist now. I use trim-to-fit mats from Costco and been happy.

Where did you find a replacement rear slider window latch at??? I need one for my truck

I actually bought it on Ebay but it honestly looks pretty much like the kits the MTM / Dorman kit you can buy at O'reilly's and elsewhere.

So I am gathering up everything for the sheet metal replacement. So far I have the left front fender, grill, headlamp surrounds, valance panel, bumper/valance panel brackets, turn signal lamps and side marker lamps. Still have to get bumper. My question is for those who’ve replaced front components before what kind of hardware do I need to have on hand? I plan on reusing what fasteners I can but I know I’ll need some inserts and whatnot.

Windshield washer pump not working, pulled the tank and scrubbed it down. Pump won’t spin, this Trico 11-604 appears to be an exact replacement for the pump that was in it now. Going to button it up tonight.

For hardware, just re use your existing bolts. 4/5 for the valance, 7 for each fender, the bumper has 4 bracket bolts to the frame rails and about 4 more to connect the fenders. Oh and there's also bolts on the fender for the wheel arches. The main thing you might have to buy are the clips for the grill. If you learn how to take them out you can salvage them, or just rip the suckers off and get you a clip kit for around $6-8. I haven't come across a vendor that sells panel hardware for our trucks but my local ACE has been super helpful in matching thread and head sizes for what I was missing.

Thanks for the reply, I ordered a plastic clip kit I hope might have the correct clips. Hoping I can reuse the hardware, going to try to soak all the threads with PB Blaster today to hopefully free them up. The bolts are gone for the valance at least the ones at the lower end of the bracket other than that I assume they are all still in place.

Bumper came in today so I guess I don’t have anything stopping me from getting on the sheet metal now.

The cheap eBay turn signal lights I bought don’t even have the right connectors. Picking up a set TYCs today and have to put the fender liner in.

I ordered a set of the Husky liners this week, had them in my K1500 and they really protect the carpet, supposed to be here by the end of the month.

Once I find a bed I hope to get it into the paint shop. I've considered the all over Rhino lining but this cab is really solid no rust in the rockers, cab corners or floor pan. Considering that I might go with a conventional paint job.

Got the windshield installed today by Safelite. Old one was sandblasted and pitted not sure if it was OE or not. 425083FB-4181-4F4D-8B84-D680B8A604CB.jpeg
