Anybody have any input if they think this combo would rub? Tire size would either be at 225/45 or 215/45. On a 94 reg cab 2wd fenders

I doubt it will rub with the 215s.. but it it does, rolling the fenders isn't to hard either for an extra inch of clearance.

Keep in mind, the crown vics/grand marquis wheels are 7.5 wide I believe and I haven't heard of problems on a 3/4 drop.

Yes I have done the willtheyfit stuff as well as searched the entire forum. I just thought if someone had personal experience with that type of wheel specs they might be able to give me a little advice.

Do some searching on here. There are threads solely dedicated to wheels and specs.

I can't attest to the fitment on a 94, but on an 86, a 7" wide wheel with 0 offset would poke out from 2wd fenders

I thought I saw on here when I searched jblaust had some 16x8 0 offset that fit great. Seems like 17x7 0 offset would too

Difference between an 8 and 7 inch wheel with a zero offset will be half an inch more poke

Yes. Which is why I thought a 7 inch rim should be fine
