Help.. clutch release bearing

    I don’t have a press. How to R&R bearing from carrier?

    The throw out bearing just slides off the input shaft of the tranny

    It's a pretty tight fit a press is your best bet. Maybe find a shop that can knock it out while you wait.

    Aaah shit yes. Definitely need it pressed out. Do you have access to a bench vice? Can try to make that work

    They are not that tight that you need a press, you can use a brass drift to knock the carrier off the bearing and it will tap back on again with a hammer

    Mine was seized up. It took a good bit before it let go.

    I'd just get a whole new assembled unit.. easier, time/headache saver. Aren't they like $30?
