    1986 xtra cab.
    Trying to convert from a slider to a solid.

    Did you search for one? I found several in 30 seconds, all around $100. I'd just call up a local auto glass place, they should all be able to get it in solid. The hard to find rear glass is the "butterfly" window

    Hit up like 5 shops and none can get one. Never asked about cutting one.

    All the places I found say it fits 2nd/3rd gen truck cabs, it would be same glass between single and xtra cabs.

    I literally just googled “1986 Toyota pickup rear glass” and looked in the Shopping tab. Links to eBay, glass companies, heck you can even get it from Toyota still. It’s part number 6481189120

    Searching on this site. Looks like the back glass for the standard will not fit my extended cab.
    Extended cab is taller.
    Just from what I've gathered on this forum.

    Huh, would have figured it was the same size glass for sure, weird. Oh well, just go custom and have someone cut it for you since it’s just a gasket holding it in. PO of my Hilux was a glazier and did the solid window himself out of a slightly gray glass

    Dunno why I keep thinking about this, but if the same glass works between the 2nd/3rd gen single-cab trucks, I'd assume the same interchangeability for the extra cab trucks, right? If that's the case, here's one for the 3rd gen in solid: eBay

    Just curious - why solid? I've had both and definitely would prefer it to open

    trade ya my solid rear xtra cab window for your wheels (-;

    but yeah, it is flat glass, so any glass shop should be able to cut one for you pretty easily.

    When I got my turbo pickup I put some american racing outlaw wheels on it, and swapped the turbo wheels onto my broken down old sr5. I listed the sr5 on craigslist and got a lot of people who wanted the wheels, but not the truck. I ended up selling the wheels for $400 to a guy who drove almost 3 hours, and swapped his steelies with the turbo wheels on my old truck. I made $400, but he paid near 6 hours of travel time, the effort to swap the wheels, and the $400.
    They are the most desirable 14" wheels that I have seen.
