So I bought new fenders off Ebay. I always wanted to know where to get more parts. After doing some searching I found a parts catalog. I went to the companies website and emailed them a request for a quote on a hood about a year ago. I never got a response. They do have a phone number. I haven't tried it yet. Not in a position to be buying any body parts right now. I have seen the Ebay seller has added more new items. Also a site called car id has started selling the front panel for the later models. For much cheaper as well. Less then $50 compared to the $200 or something the Ebay seller wants now.

Now the fit isn't great so far for me. Could be because my truck was hit at some point but the quality isn't helping. Tabs to mount the fender are way off on mine. Makes me want to put the work in on the old ones. The front panel is a pretty rough fit. Now its the not the one that should be on my truck but i think it will be the same story if i had the right one. I still am interested in the hood. Anyway ill post the link for the website and catalog.

Thanks for your PTC Thailand Info. I have a friend who is actually in Thailand teaching a course for the next week, so I sent him that PDF catalog to see where the company is located. Since Toyota had these panels stamped in Thailand years ago, the chances are pretty good that he can find out more info on them, see if they are above board...

That's awesome. I was hoping someone could get a use out of it. My only thought is they might deal in large quantities and my inquiry for one part did not intrest them.

No usually a company will ship world wide just to continue operations going.

See before I was injuried on the job, our company sent us international for several jobs. The company my friend works for covers Asia, so sometime each quarter he has to travel to Thailand to train engineers and technicians. He is currently in Bangkok and I just saw the address, He will possibly have a salesman who is in that area check it out.

It will be good to get some good info for everyone instead of having one guy doing big mark ups. Alot of the price is shipping from Greece for the ebay seller.

From the first three pages of your PDF. Pricing at the source is what I'm interested in.

I've been looking at those same $550 fenders you bought. Curious about the quality and physical condition of those panels after they got to you? I've bought body parts in the past for other vehicles and they've always been damaged slightly in shipping, and those were not coming from overseas

Usually packaging from overseas is above standards because they want repeat customers. Those panels and pricing may differ from the sales price posted on Ebay. How many items have you purchased from Asia to be specific? I lived overseas for several years and still order from Asia when the items are not available here. Crap shoot but you have to really want it to "just do It".

I've ordered a few dozen things from Asia and miraculously survive the journey with just bubble wrap in a yellow envelope, or sytrofoam with yellow tape all over it, no actual box around them - but those are all smaller items than metal body parts with edges/corners that are easily damaged if the box is impacted. That's what hapened with my fenders and hood in the past - they were packaged with bubble wrap, styrofoam and cardboard, but the corners busted through the cardboard packaging and took damage.

I stand corrected. It appears that you have invested quite a bit of funds towards those panels. Different when your there as they package your items. No wood framing offered prior to being placed inside of he container. Sorry, I was the technician who had to report our products shipping condition upon arrival to a plant for installation and for the items return to vendor shipments. I forget that cost wasn't coming out of my pocket, so sorry!

    Darn, I was spoiled...

Jesus that fitment is bad. How was the fitment with your OEM parts?

Hopefully you have room for adjustments. I’ve seen sometimes when you can’t get the gaps even but everything is relatively lined up, to weld a rod on the end of the panel to extend it and close the gap more. Body work is tricky
