I might give FatMat a try, I don't know if it will be too thick for the door panels or not though.

By the way, I got the real wheels that I wanted... Best part is that they were free from a drag racer buddy of mine! :) I just need to buy adapters and some 195/45 R15's.

I don't know exactly what brand they are but they are stamped " Made in USA." They are basically a soft 8 with the fake 3-piece rivet look.

    Soft 8s have bigger holes.

I removed the leaf springs and shocks to start mocking up my bag setup. Slowly but surely... I started removing the front spindles but didn't have time to try and pry the spindles off.

Almost ready for the C-notch. I just need to buy some more steel tubing to cross brace the frame!

That is true, I plan on it. I think I am going to box all the way around it about 6 inches front to back.

Here is a little update, I have more done than what is in these pictures. I got the frame re-enforced and both side notched. I am waiting on parts to finish my 4-link bars. Let me know what y'all think!

Here is a little update. I pulled the motor and tranny out last night and both are for sale. I am prepping to pull the cab to continue completing my air ride setup and I have a little bit of rust to patch in the floor board. I also mocked up the front end, I might need a new grill piece if I cant fix the driver side one. Thanks for following the build!

    Here is another update:
I found a guy who machines control arm brackets for like $3 a piece near me. So, I bought 4 for my axle. I also got a set of rear control arms out a 71 Monte Carlo with good bushings for free! I am honestly amazed about how they look factory on my pickup haha. I have gathered everything but a compressor and a water trap for my air ride setup. I plan to get everything mocked up and at least tack welded in this weekend! It's slowly coming along.
