So replaced the carrier bearing and still making the noise thinking it's actually the pinion bearing.

 

Pinion bearing sounds horrible when it goes out

 

Well if I put it in neutral and spin the wheels sometimes the driveshaft wI'll spin and sometimes it doesnt. And I hear a clunking noise too inside the rear

 

Haven't done much to it lately at all. But finally washed her up and hopefully will be getting a 3rd member this week for it so I can start driving her.

 

Alright so pretty sure the 3rd member has issues so scored a complete axle today for $100 swapping the 3rd members tomorrow morning. Dude had 16+ yotas in his backyard

 

So swapped out the third member today. Problem solved. Looked like glitter inside the differential.

 

Took her to work yesterday did pretty good first time driving a bagged truck in 3 years since I took the other one off the road.

Ya I just got this one not to long ago trying to bring it back to life after many neglected years and owners

 

Got an idea from a buddy. So went and bought a 4runner headliner cut it down and will get new pillars to match better and refiberglass the back together rear of the cab has a bulge inside that's why it's cut

 

Well damn havent been on here in awhile. Sold this toyota awhile back. The guy is old school mini trucker and is in the process of rebuilding it.
