Anyone know where I can get a diode in this pic the one that says 3002 on it. Pretty sure it burned up when po hooked battery up backwards and tried to start it. Or one that could work.

 

I've stolen them out of old remotes or old tape decks before. If you got anything like that laying around. Good luck.

 

Yup i have done the same. Take anything apart that you dont need.
Also Digikey has a good selection of parts

 

Computer power supplies (old one) have a lot of diodes and caps. Works in a pinch. If you can wait just order a new one like Daily Driven said...
