Haha! Yeah, I definitely don't blame you. If I didn't need one, there would be 5 sitting in my garage.

I've got to go out and take some more pics of my port job on the new head. Somehow I deleted the ones I had before.

I'm kinda new at port work, so don't be too harsh. :)

So I took the converter to FTI Performance in Deland, FL yesterday. Those people are awesome! Got me all fixed up after identifying a few problems I didn't realize existed.

Everything fit the first try, and the price was exceedingly reasonable.
Got the converter back home and took it to the shop to install it. Here she is again! Happy, Happy, Happy!

So, I finally got around to building my Wilwood caliper adapters for the rotors I'm running....

I'm going to do a production run if there is interest in them. I'll test fit them soon and get pics of them installed.

I'd like a set of the caliper brackets if the lexus setup doesn't pan out for me for sure, Like always nice work!

Pretty amazingly. My Flex-a-lite fan went bad on me. But I have a new Spal fan arriving today.

I installed the caliper stands. They fit perfectly. But since the old stands were a bit off, I need to figure out what to do with the rotors. I may be able to have them turned (or do them myself), but I'm not sure about that.

I also got to tidying up some loose ends. A few of the plastic bushings for my AC vents had fallen apart, leaving them sloppy. I remade the bushings out of some Aluminum and Brass scraps I had laying around.

I also got my Injector Dynamics ID1000's to install soon. Things are about to get real.... Well, eventually they will get real.

Nice work on the bushings for the vents. You should sell those too. Looking forward to the brake upgrade progress.

I could make some if anyone is interested. They are fairly simple to make. Probably around $25 a set shipped for the bushings, and $45 a set if you want bushings and the little tie bars that keep the vanes straight in the vent. I made those too.

    Thanks! I'm working on it.

I finished porting my new head last night. Should hopefully be the equivalent to LC's stage 5 port job now. Just need to get it decked and polish the firing chamber.

Does anyone have ideas on what combustion chamber mods are beneficial? Such as deburring or rounding off sharp corners? Or maybe unshrouding the valves?

Valve shrouding might be something to look at, On my old build I left the chambers stock just ported the runners. For a little bit of info on the shrouding theory click here

have you ever or can you make a set of windshiedl wiper covers? that would be able to screw on to the threaded posts once the wiper arms were removed.

I have not. I've seen them out there. I could make them, but it probably wouldn't be worth my time or the money I'd have to charge to make them worth my time... Haha.

yeah, they are out there but they are usually for the larger post wipers (chevy) so they dont fit so well on our trucks.
just thought i would throw up there...lol.

    thanks for the reply!!

The stock cambers re are ok in less you are running the massive valves then you will have to alter the chambers I just took the sharp ness of and clean up the cambers seats it's in my build thread then re did the ports
