I am too. I started the seeds too soon this year and now have green bean plants (blue lake pole) that are tall and wanting something to grab onto. I put them on the back porch monday before work to harden them and the other veggies before planting and hoping there was no frost from here on out. Then mother nature decided Monday was a good day to show the people of Colorado what its like to be in florida during a hurricane. I came home to see all my plants, lovingly sprouted from seeds, laying over and freezing from the cold and wind. They're recovering under the sproughting lights while I wait for the wind to die down.
That sucks,I know what a pain & disappointment when pants are starting & something happens too them. With me it is snails get to them ,even with snail bait & bar-b-q ash spread around them. My garden is doing good , I'll get some photo's when out they later. The wife has thrown me a curve ball,my garage floor will have to wait, having to start a long put off project of replacing sliding glass doors & windows. We have 7 that windows that have failed ,the house is 26 years old. So will order the first of two doors & one window today,so can get going on this!!
Wow! you have a nice garden. Mine is just two plots of tilled-up soil that I'm slowly amending. Gonna build a barrel composter this weekend, hopefully. The one plot got smaller when my sister decided my youngest son "needed" two bantam chicks without asking me, so part of the garden in now a chicken run. Heres a pic of the "coop" while it was being built and the Chicken Nuggets (Peanut and Butter) when they were chicks and almost full grown.
Finding one of these and finally getting this one has kept me away from the mini so far. As always, my phone hates the nevada sun. Its getting slammed hopefully on some semi wheels.
Mmmmmm you had me at hello. Truck is lookin sick man! I'm trying to find another 1st Gen Cummins dually but they are hard to find in good condition here.
Well it's been awhile. So I found an awesome near mint condition 1st gen Cummins. Got it out of Nevada, so no rust! 82,000 original miles. 2wd. 5spd. This truck drives excellent. Runs nice and smooth. Body is very straight but the clear is almost gone so paint is in order. But she's a clean truck.
Lifted my daughters powerwheels jeep. Painted, working lights, pink underglow, radio, upgraded to 24v, tires wrapped in rubber. Starting to build them for ppl here lol...who knew lol. Tryed uploading pics...to big
^nice! I'd love to do this for my son, he's 2.5 now so I need to get him some of the stuff I never had Learned about the peg perego "Gaucho" which is an FJ40 body instead of a Heep. Have been on/off looking for one on CL but haven't found one nearby yet - TLCA had an article where a guy mated the XL 2-kid version with a 50cc quad for adult riding, it was sweet. I guess my other project aside from my 75 Hilux would be my dads 68 Delmont 88 convertible that I inherited. Haven't started working on it yet but I've gotta finish it someday for him.
Flexn it lol we unveiled it when we went camping. Just so happens it was jeep trailing weekend and all the jeepers were camping there. Got alot of pics and props for the build
If u have Pinterest...i DL for this reason....they have things with custom powerwheels..everything from custom frames and gas powered conversion.
Here's my side project/reason I got rid of my mini, 1961 GMC. I couldn't keep 2 big projects going, and though family ties I couldn't get rid of this one so the mini had to go. Slowly making this a fun show show truck, nothing to crazy. Current mods are; -Mildly built Stroker 383 with TH400 trans with shift kit and upgraded clutches Future upgrades; -Paint -73-87 front crossmember/steering/suspension for disc brakes and cheaper replacement parts -10 bolt rear end with either posi or a spool -And looooowered
I love it too, but I'm considering changing the hood to the body line style. But then again, not many out there of this style.
