Hey how's it going! Just picked up a 1973 Hilux three weeks ago so I'm very new to the vintage Toyota game. Decided to make good use of my free time and try to get this thing into tip top shape. Looking for a couple parts and pieces let me know if you have something

 

Looks good, should get that black off the centercaps and polish em up. would change up the look for the better

 

Yeah I agree I was thinking about just throwing new wheels on all together. Slowly but surely! I've been working on it with all my free time I thought the outside looked pretty good. So I started else where. New front back suspension,dropped 4inch, new bench seat, fresh carpet. Now to pull the dash fresh in that up and figure out why my turn signals stopped working!

 

Make sure all the lights a bolted in good and that the metal they bolt on to is clean. They ground thru the bolts. I rewired mine and Cleaned up the areas Any lights bolt to. Front and back.

 

Awesome thanks for the tip. It might be the guy who had it befor me Jerry rigged a electric fan in so he may have knocked something loose.

 

Possibly. The flasher relay is behind the heater/radio bezel bolted to the inside of the firewall. In case you need to look for it

What kind of rewire kit did you get? I'm going to do that when I swap the motor out.

 

EZ-Wiring. Basically the same as all the rest just less expensive. I think i paid 170 for it

Thanks for the welcome guys. Jetas thanks for the tip it was the relay and I got a little carried away with myself and took everything out

 

Holy crap! Lol. Well while youre there check the copper contacts where the harness plugs into the cluster and clean em up.
