    Sooo my dad bought it.

Well here's how things went down...

Test drove it (neat and smooth.. I like my truck wayyy better)

Vehicle has been garaged since it was bought. kept hella clean, no damage at all. all highway miles. Tires are good, it is SR5 2wd package. Interior is pristine clean. A/C works cold and fresh. Brakes are really good front and rear. Vehicle DID have a drop in liner but was removed, i'll put my old liner in the back of it. There is basically nothing wrong with it, Engine runs super smooth. So my dad set the price to about 7500.. after like an hour or two with bargaining and arguing, he got the truck price for 7500 but after all the lil nick nacks for insurance and what not (business transaction ****....) he got it for $8000 in total....

You should have seen his face :D

But i didn't drive my truck up to the dealership, we had to use my sister's Camry. the Taco feels like a camry.

Neat Access cab too, very clean, good condition. The truck is just as new as it was in 1999, just add 90k on the clock.

Yeah, the newer stuff can't compare to the older, better built stuff. Tell your dad congratulations though. Buying a car is the coolest crap ever! When we picked up my truck, let's see, 3 or four years ago, I couldn't sleep for a week, day-dreaming of all my plans for it in the middle of the night.:D Then I saw the Back to the Future trilogy, with that b****en black truck Marty McFly gets at the end of Part 1 and that's kind of my plan for mine now, except I didn't get the xtra cab and I prefer my two-tone grey metallic coloring. Gonna make everything happen little by little, not to mention distinguish mine from the films' truck. Makes me wonder what happened to that after all the films were completed, it would be sad to see it in the scrap yard, or rotting away on the backlot like the totalled Chargers from the Fast and the Furious...
