hey guys im looking on spicing up my engine bay and was wondering is it worth going to side draft carbys as i think it would be easier then efi swap and also keeping the stock look.
also is it worth getting a new exhaust on the 22r? performance gains and or sound?

I love the look of dual side draft carbs.

Generally it's always a good idea to add headers for performance improvements. You just don't want to go to big with the primary pipe diameter or torque will take a hit. Since the 22 engine isn't really noted for it's high winding power capabilities I can't imagine there are many large diameter headers out there.

On most vehicles headers usually make some work harder to do and they tend to not last as long as the stock exhaust manifold. There are several cheaply constructed headers out there and they tend to use thin walled pipe that does't last. Look for thicker pipe if you want it to last.
