Hey all, just introducing myself here. I'm an "older" school technician with a passion for Toyotas. I bought my first Celica in High School (in the early 80's) and have owned many Celicas and Supras over the years. This is my first foray into 2WD pickups. This seemed like the place to go for information.

This is now my shop truck having replaced an old square body C-10.

here is how it looked day 1. Base model, no power anything (except brakes), just how I like it. Simple and reliable.

Its still a bit of a work in progress, but it will get up to my standards in time. I do mostly light restoration work on neglected survivors. Here is just one example.

I bought this Supra for $600 not running but I could see it was a diamond in the rough.

and turned it into this beauty!

Anyway, I'm mostly just a lurker but even with 30+ years of automotive experience I'm still never too old to learn something new every day.

Your name looks kinda familiar. I used to hang out on supramania but the guy that owns it is just a douche, and I haven't done a mk3 in forever.

Ive considered a 7M swap in the 89 but in the end thought better of it. I need my shop truck to be reliable, lol. (yes that was a knock on the 7M) (yes that was a pun as well ;) )

    Very nice, both vehicles.

Wow. $600 for the Supra, even not running...

Back in the day, you could get $1,000 EACH for the front seats on the black market. Whoever sold you the car didn't know his Supra history, which, of course was good for you... :D

completed the 2" drop spindle/3" drop blocks on the truck today. I'm very happy with the results.
