My usual chrome shop that I've used for as long as I can remember now seems to be doing garbage work. We've sent stuff to them recently where we received back warped parts and chromed over rust.

I'm looking to send some window trim pieces for chroming but I don't really want to use this shop anymore. No other shops in the immediate area either.

I don't mind shipping to Arizona or California if the chrome work is good and sent back in a timely fashion. Do any of you guys have or know of a good reputable shop in those areas? I'm in Las Cruces, NM if that makes any difference. Please suggest only good shops that are willing to ship.

From what I understand, Chrome shops are few and far between now with all the environmental stuff and lack of business. (Thats what I've heard, not sure I believe the lack of business part.) The big one here in Denver was Denver Bumper, but last I heard the land is now being used as a giant pot growing opperation. (you don't need heavy metal with your pot. There's already heavy metals IN the pot!) I'll ask around and see if I can get some info for you.

Appreciate it bud. My usual shop had always been pretty good. I've used them for years then the owner retired and his son took over. Since then the quality has been dropping. It's a shame because his dad was always a perfectionist.
