hey can i elimanate this and also what is it. my truck runs rough on idle when its warm but when i spray this with starter fluid it smooth out tried new hose but no go so now i wanna get rid of it..
im not sure on the RE's, im going to do the same to my truck sometime later.. i f-in hate all those vacuum lines!
i here that i'm so tired of vacume lines bout to change motors and drop something in with a lot less vacum lines
yes that is y i like carb motors! but i couldnt pass on a stock 22rte truck that was also an ext cab.
dunno I was told around 300.. when I get her running good for sure again im going to check it for sure
gas tank vent I have been trying to figure this out myself. I know that there is a vent line that runs to the front of my truck from the gas tank. A breather can be put in this (keep it high in the engine compartment). Well actually that's on my Tacoma but it is definetly worth finding out about the pickup's vent line. Charcoal canisters can be removed on tacomas. That's all that I know so far.
I just bought my 92 from a mechanic. It also runs rough once it's warm. RPM are around 600 at idle. I don't know for certain if it's running correct but, like I typed, he is a mechanic.
Thats a vent or a purge solenoid for the EVAP emissions system. i guess you could take it off and block the hoses if you wanted. the check engine light would always be on though. Sounds like it might be leaking vacuum, i'd replace the thing.
