Your truck looks hot bud. I'm not the biggest fan of starions but on your ride it seems to work nicely.

Well decided to take the little truck out and see what she would do on the track for the first time for her and me. Quite a fun experience I had fastest time in her was 17.466. I had a blast .

Although we did have some issues afterwards on the way home I felt as if my front in was super bouncy in a way as if I was in a boat lol well I had planned to do my oil change the next day so I would look at it then. We'll come to find out as soon as I lifted the truck I got two big puddles underneath the truck , yup I blew the monomax struts ... So now I'll be looking for something different this time around.

so while the truck was down for the time being i took the time to do a little work to some things first off i picked up a header from a local member on here W/T ,gave it a little cleaning and a new coat of paint. while i was at it i also cleaned up the intake and polished the efi logo and painted the valve cover wrinkle black. i also took the time to do a little polish jobb on the starions.
still need to install the header just deciding on how to run my exhaust.....also starting to look into cam looking for something that just gives a little pep in its step from the 2500-3000 to 5000-6500 area havent really looked into them yet thats my next step.

Header looks good painted rather than crusty & dirty.

I like my cam we'll enough, it's a 250-60F 20R / 22R Toyota Camshaft that was in the truck when I got it. Stock idle but it pulls nice right off idle up to just over 5k now with the gear adjusted 5* retarded.

If I was to change the cam from stock I'd go with something a bit bigger. Anything between 270 and 290* duration will have good lift numbers and raise the power band accordingly. However being that you're running efi I'd get something closer to what I'm running so your efi will be happy.
