Been preparing the cab for some paint! added some filler on the worst places , removed grill , headlights etc . I also made some blocks for the rear. I cannot fit the whole truck in my garage over winter becouse of space issues , but i have a small space for the bed. So i am trying to complete the work on the cab and chassi before the snow , and work on the bed over winter in the garage. Stay tuned!
Second layer of paint done yesturday. Installed the grill and headlights aswell. I did also paint some metal net matte black and covered the holes in the front. Im not sure if I will keep it that way or just go with the bumper , suggestions?
Wow man! Great score and work on this truck. Seeing trucks like this makes me conflicted between doing a little work on my '78 or continuing on the '93. THANKS A LOT!!! LOL...
Long time no see! time for a small update The truck is outside and the bed is in the garage! Done some metal work on the bed. The tailgate where in such a bad shape so i ended up just using the original frame. Much work left but getting there
A guy on a local workshop found it for me brand new. He said it came from England that's pretty much all i know. i payed 120 Euros for it.
Have been much going on lately so have not got time to update the thread for a while , but here is some fresh pictures on my truck. Have been adding filler and milled it down around 15 times on the left side of the bed , and are quite pleased with the result. (could be better though ).. Its primed and ready for some paint! The other side of the bed is in much better condition , so i think applying 2-3 times filler will be enough The bed is back on the truck , and the new tailgate fits perfect! i did add some colour to my wheels aswell just to make it look a little more happy until i get my other Wheels applyed I BE BACK! ty for reading !
Have been so busy with all other kinds of projects so there have been pretty much no progress and no updates lately. But i have a few pictures on my truck with the rims i am planning to use. I hope I will have more time for this project any time soon!
