I am planning on using the stock mighty max front springs to lower the truck a mild amount, also possibly putting 2" drop blocks in the rear. I don't want to slam the thing. I am wondering if anyone has experience with Monroe air shocks. I was thinking of using shocks for Mighty Max in the front due to the slight drop, and a rear setup for the Toyota. Any advice? Monroe seems like a pretty reputable company.

I used stock replacement Monroe from napa on the front of my 77 when I lowered it. I have drop shocks in the rear but am getting ready to put monroe air shocks in the back. They are great shocks and provide a decent ride. I had air shocks on my show yota b4 I bagged it and it rode great.
