Hello everyone, I'm in the process of buying a 1994 Toyota Pickup. I live in a trailer park with a lot of snowbirds from up North. One of them is selling me his truck when he goes back to Syracuse in mid-April. It is a regular cab Toyota pickup with a locking Lund lid on the back. It has a new battery, and the tires only have 2000 miles on them. He only drives it twice a week, to go to Winn Dixie and Church. This truck has only 56,000 miles on it. The interior, and especially the seats, look as clean as the day it was sold. NO rust except on the rear bumper. The paint needs a serious buffing-out, and the truck doesn't have a/c, so I've been looking into what needs to be obtained in order to install a/c. I'd also like to find a instrument panel with a tach & gauges. The stereo is some aftermarket rig, but perfectly acceptable for my use. The intended use is as a daily driver (I only live 2 miles from work). First order of business after it trades hands is new belts, hoses, and fluids. I'm not posting any pics until it is mine, but each day brings it a little close. The owner is going to replace it with a mid-2000's Camry he has in NY. He told he his driving skills are deteriorating and he needs an automatic. Selling price is $1800. By the way, My name is Tom, and I live in Tavares, FL.
No slamming, this is gonna be a bone stock, daily driver....a rolling time capsule. I might add some mild window tint and a free-flow exhaust when it needs a replacement. The kind of truck that people will comment "I had one 20 years ago, your truck looks great."
