I have a 75 hilux SR-5 shortbed, and I was wondering if someone could chime in on what the final drive ratio is on the rears of these trucks. Also, If I wanted to change the R&P what options do I have as far as swapping the final?

Finally, is there an LSD that will bolt into the stock rear end?

 

Check the vin plate. And post up a pic or the codes on it. Should decipher what came on it from the factory

 

RN23019982 is the code. How do I decipher it? I tried using an online vin check site, but it said its as too short.

Well, when we bought the car, it had no engine and tranny installed, but came with a 18R-G and a 4speed.

 

car has a 8" diff with 4.11 final, and 2 pinion open. What LSDs fit this pumpkin?
