So while tearing down and getting the front clip ready to tack up the bag brackets a friend of mine (same guy I got the doors and bumper from) said that he had a set of upper and lower plate control arms for sale. Well he wanted a little more than I was willing to spend so I asked if he would mind if my machinist buddy took some measurements of them so we could build our own. We went the next day and got all the measurements we needed. Here is what the originals look like.

This is what we came up with. Just a little deviation from the original design. Ill probably throw some custom gussets on just for the hell of it.

I got a killer deal on some 2" LRD poly bushings from airbag-depot.com today. They have free shipping for Cyber monday as well so go check em out. We are hoping that the lowers will be done in a few weeks depending on when the steel comes in. Im anxious to see how they are going to look lol.

Yeah man....finally got the front done. Had to make some changes to the upper arms so that set me back a bit. I'll get pics and updates up soon.

So I've been away for a few...been busy with the kiddo who is now 13 months old. Man how time flies. He's running around and into everything lol.

However, I was able to finally get out to the shop and get the front end mostly wrapped up. We had to modify the upper control arms so that set me back a bit but we got them dialed in and they look sweeeeet! I've got to go back and paint all the brackets and frame pocket, get the control arms powder coated and decide what I'm going to do with my inner fenders but man does it feel good to watch it go up and down hahaha. Here's a few pics for you.......

Thanks Rabbit! Still need to clean it all up and paint it. This was my first time ever doing the torsion style bag mounts so I think it came out pretty good. I should have angled my top bracket up a little more but it'll do.

I know guys. Seems like this site is slowing down too. Since street source shut down. And I sold mine and Jason uc93 sold his. Let's keep it going.

I'll be back on things soon. I'm taking a couple of classes right now, that keeps me off major things. I'm no where in the same league as your guy's builds but eventually mine will come around and look nice enough.
