Looking at a set of 18X9's with a 45mm offset. What fitment issues should I expect? Thanks in advance.

hmm...... you might run into issues on the frame side of the wheel with that deep of a offset. not sure....... allan's truck has a 18x8.5 rear and +35mm offset and he has pleanty of room on each side of the wheel.

I still have the 18x9.5's in the rear. Expect tire rub on the frame side as previously stated. Probably will be a constant headache in the front.

When I got my staggered set, even the 18x7's in the front with the 42mm offset rubbed. Not sure why, they weren't supposed to. But the addition of a 25mm wheel spacer cured that. So I would be hesitant to recommend the 9" wheel for the front.

By the way, my rears are a 20mm offset and they fit perfectly. Take your time and measure both the fronts and rears ahead of time and you can find out whether they will rub before you buy...

That is what I was afraid of. All rims are the same size and do no come in a staggered fitment.:brickknock: Only way to find is to actual test fit the wheel or do wheel narrowing for the fronts.

Why don't you just get wheels with a lower offset. Like "25mm"

It seems hard to find wheels with a low offset(well for me at least) in a style I like.

Your best bet is to go with 25mm wheel spacers.

If anything you could always use a 2-inch spacer/wheel adapter in the front to clear the rotors/brake calipers & the frame, then use a 1/4 wheel spacer in the rear to push the rim out just enough to make sure it doesnt hit the side of the frame or rear wheel tub. I done both & it works! :)

Here is a quick shot of the wheels. The machined finish is what I'm going after.

Test fitted them today with 1.5" spacers I am currently running. I rub up front on 8's right now so the 9's will be worse.
