Hey guys my name is Gerson (pronounced gear-son) 22 years old from Pasco Washington. I took my dad's 94 single cab 2wd 22re and started to make it nice again after years of being just another work truck. It currently sits at just over 280,000 miles but can still outrun half these Hondas. Front torsion bar has been lowered all the way (though I just found out it's not the best idea so I'm working on getting drop spindles instead) and my rear has lowering blocks and air adjustable shocks. I've always had a special love for that truck so I want to restore it and make it the nicest lolux around since all you really see is lifted trucks in the PNW. I know I'll need help along the way so hopefully you more experienced owners will be able to lend me a hand.

Welcome, I'm in Pasco too so we've probably seen each others trucks and not realized it.

Drop spindles are never a bad idea, I have them on my 90. Even though I'm not dropped super low they keep my alignment in check. I'm running 3" blocks and a pulled middle leaf at the moment with no driveline vibes. I'm changing my leaf packs before next summer along with other mods since I auto cross the truck I need a bit higher spring rate.

You're from Pasco too? Haha small world! Here's some picture of my truck, maybe you'll recognize it haha! Now that you mention it I too removed my middle leaf in the rear but I have a total of 7" of block drop in the rear. When I let all the air out of my shocks my stock 14's slide right under the bed. Yeah you guys are right, drop spindles are what I'm going for. Any good quality brands you guys could recommend? I don't wanna buy cheap drop spindles and suffer later on.

Hmmm 10 wheelers, I work for a spud farm out in burbank so that's a common sight for me.

Nice truck, I'm guessing you have a notch out back? 7" of block and a pulled middle leaf would be pretty pointless without it. As for spindles there are only a couple companies making them and they are both fine. If you're looking to go super low which I'm guessing you are I'd suggest lower control arms too, that will get you in the weeds and still able to align the truck.

    Here's my junk. :D

I'm working out in Plymouth, Agri NorthWest:lol:

I don't have a notch actually. Even tho the truck can go as low as the axle hitting the frame I never drive it like that. I always keep the air shocks raised to where I don't hit anything. Eventually I'm going to install normal shocks once the front suspension gets to the point where I want to be. I do want to go lower in the front but not dragging low haha. I think 2-3" of drop spindles will do and I might raise the torsion bar back up a little to adjust the height. I keep finding mostly Beltech spindles so I'm thinking about getting those since they seem to have good reviews. As long as i don't end up with bad camber I'll be happy. That's a nice truck too! :waytogo: Can't honestly say I've seen you around but I'll be keeping an eye out for it now.

Ahh agri northwest, I have friends up that live up that way so I spent many a night hunting coyotes and rabbits around that area. :D

When you get the spindles feel free to let me know and I'll take you to my brothers in Prosser to put them in and do rear notch. He has a 2 post lift so life is good there. Makes life damned easy to wrench on junk there. I need to swap the urethane control arm bushings in that I bought 6 or so months ago in.

I'm not surprised you haven't seen my truck since most of the year I am pretty much only going from road 68 to burbank and back at random times as since I'm headed to Salem OR or more this time of year headed to haul from a field to storage. I have an 84 x cab that has been around a couple years that you may have seen since it's been around longer.

This is it with the wheels from the 90 on it last year.

I'm trying to get my shiat together to buy my old 78 back soon, I sold it and the kid blew up the engine shortly there after and he just rebuilt a 20/22r for it last month. I'd LOVE to have it back! You may have seen it since it's harder to miss. :D
