    Hi guys,

I am wanting to throw a weber on my 81 2wd 22r, and was wondering if I need to put on an inline fuel pump? And a fuel pressure regulator?
Someone mentioned that the stock fuel pump isn't going to have enough pressure for the weber.
BTW, I have the mechanical pump.

    Thanks for your info.

i'm running factory mechanical fuel pump and have never had an issue. idles fines, runs out fine. If you go with an electrical make sure it is low output. Me thinks 4 or five gallons an hour.

Webers dont require much pressure. I think its between 3-5psi. A mech pump work off of an eccentric on the camshaft. So what it does is pulse and thats what people say it doesnt like. But many seem to be running them with a mech pump.

You can run a mechanical pump, but you should run a regulator. Webers love between 3 and 3.5lbs

Im running a weber on a stock elec pump in a '79. Works fine but was assembled terribly from the manufacturer, I would recommend going through the whole thing before installation.
