Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, but not new to the Toyota Mini trucks. I owned a 1993 a few years back and since then have wanted to get another mini truck. Growing up my dad had a 1971 Toyota Hilux (tan) that we drove everywhere. He owned a few rental properties and we were always hauling something in the back of that truck. The engine finally went out in 1989 and he had it rebuilt. The rebuild went horrible and he had so much money in to it he decided to sell it. I've always wanted to pick one up, but they seem so hard to find. I live out in southern California (Redlands, CA) and thought I had found a nice 1972 in Long Beach, but by the time I got my funds together it had sold (one day prior). I search craiglist and ebay every day, but nothing down here. If you have one or know of one you would like to sell please hit me up. I've added a photo of our old Hilux. I have the serial number for it and if I could find that one it would be like finding gold to me!
