Hello all. Just picked up an 80 pickup about a month back for a a gas saver/project truck. I originally have an 08 tacoma but I miss having a mini truck. Used to have a 96 tacoma but had to sell it. So this 80 is ganna be a bunch of fun :D

Thank you :) for now im thinking of lowering it a couple inches. I was thinking about wheels and tires but im kinda diggin the stock ones after painting them. Then down the road id like to do a motor swap. Im thinkin the 5VZ motor from the earlier tacomas. No paintjob for this baby tho going to keep the original blue. Itll be a slow process but hey thats what projects are for. Im just glad its a runner!

I love patina trucks. I can't wait to put my stockies back on. I too just painted mine not long ago but they need new tires so that's why they aren't on.:waytogo:

Haha yea ill definitely at least be getting tires for these wheels. These ones have good tread but theyre still cracked on the sidewalls and definitely not wide enough :p ill keep the pics updated for sure
