Alright, another cart before horse post BUT...
I've done a little searching and I'd like to get some feedback, reviews if you will. I'm definitely wanting to retrofit a set of HID's to the truck. In your experiences, what housing seems to perform the best? I'm looking for a crisp Acura TSX-like or better cutoff and output, nothing cheesy and/or glaring. I already know the company I'll go to for the HID's, I'd just like to hear reviews from the community on what's good and what's junk as far as a headlight housing that's up to the task.

I honestly think that any "projector" style housing looks silly in our trucks. My Hella glass H4 conversions don't have a perfectly sharp cutoff, but they look stock. And the cutoff isn't bad, it's better than the halogens that got replaced.

I'll look into them. As far as the projector type, I'd try to find the most inconspicuous type. I do understand that is a lot of criteria to meet.

I'm gonna get something I haven't seen anyone have on yet. It should be direct fit plug and play. Just got to find out how much. Will get a link once I get home.

Worth every penny I put into it. When I get home from this deployment, I'm going to redo them, make them a bit cleaner.

The trick is to not mount the projectors so far forward the truck looks bug eyed.

    Excuse the mess.

honestly, plastic housing with clear plastic lens would yield better results than my tin housings with glass lens. Same prices, too. $30.

Have I regret building these? Never. :)

The thickness of the glass on my housings are giving a little "hologram".

Look pretty good! The output is nice.

Check out TheRetrofitSource, best place to go to. I believe they're located in Atlanta.

    Thanks man!
