Hey guys what's going on? I've got a problem that's got me puzzled. Ive got a 91 reg cab truck and When I try to turn the to start it I have no power at the dash and it won't start. PLEASE HELP!!! I have replaced the 80 amp fuse, ignition switch, all fuses, and battery. I have power all the way to the ignition switch. Could it be the ignition lock cylinder? Let me know what you think. ssset bro, check to see if when u turn the key, there is power to the starter solenoid. (maybe the starter is bad). but if u trying to start it and u can see all power cuts out, then u have a bigger issue. possibly, short to ground in the ignition switch/circuit -but since u replaced the switch, it maybe in the wiring itself. may even be the starter relay. just some ideas

 

Thanks for the input chelu.. No bro it doesn't crank over there is absolutely no power at the dash ie (brake warning light check engine light) but my head light works but no signal lights.. Don't know.

 

No check engine light??? if thats the case, u may be missing something. a fuse somewhere. u check "ALL" fuses? even the one behind the glove box? worst case -if that CEL is not coming on- u may have a bad computer par
