Yes but why, an old single barrel only had a small venturi which is good for torque, side drafts allowed increased air intake and thus increase hp, but a the factory double barrel dose the best of both having a small primary and large secondary

They are only on post 7/1967 which commenced sales 9/1967 so with the introduction of the RK101 the lite stout received the same face lift, although officially the lite stout was never made post 7/1967 as it was replaced by the hilux. it is possible that the lite stout/stallion was still in production in very limited amounts in south Africa as late as 1971 and the last of were fitted with 12r engines and combined with the fact that the south African made stout/stallion had an Australian made option rear load deck such as in the picture

The one on Gumtree.com.au is not a lite stout, although I have removed a 12r out of a burnt out lite stout that had the year as 1974 but I am unsure now if it had a rk101 front on it

You can still buy remote boosters, they are costly, have to be suited for the application and not something I would even comprehend. it would be better honestly to go for a firewall mounted option with a split system master for cheaper better set ups and many in the states have done kits that would fit having the same breaking systems as 40 series landcruiser

It might or might not bolt straight on, but it should be able to be made fit

There is no official parts lits for the stout pre 1979 and RK110, some places however in Australia still use thiess toyota reference data such as places like toyota parts specialists, which has very limited information of which I would seriously love to be able access, but when I asked I was told no

Okay ,,,some conflicting information out there ,,, spoke with department of transports / vehicle examination centre they said NOT to bring car in unless you believe it will pass pits/examination
Better to get someone to look over car & itemise work that is require & bring car back to them once work is complete

I was of the understanding they (vehicle examination centre) would give me a long list to make my way through

    Any thoughts

Not required to have heaters by law but must have de mister, so the heater unit is needed for the fan and ducting.
