Been reading here for a while, but since aquiring grandpas 89 x-cab truck, I figure its time to get on the wagon.

I have a nice set of 5 spoke aluminum 15x8 rims that came off a 87 jeep cherokee. The offset is 25.4 and will definitely have to have spacers. Was thinking 3/4" up front and 1" in the back.

Anyone ever tried these on a ride?? Am I on the right page with em??? I need to post a few pics, ... Thanks!

Offset is not 25.4. 15x8 will work, but if you lower it to certain height it will rub fenders. Here is mine with 15x7 0 offset. My truck is lower with control arms up front and rear is 2.5 steel blocks. Drop shocks front and back.

Done some looking online and couple websites had the offset of these as 25.4. Took a couple of pics of rims and one of the truck. I know without a spacer the rim touches the A arm. Thinking they are too wide at 8". ?? Ive noticed most here are running 7"

I'm running 15x8's zero offset on 195/50R15 tires
Did you every try test fitting the your rims? are they too far in?
