Hey guys, my 94 Toyota pickup 4cyl Automatic Ex Cab is shaking like crazy, it started 3 days ago, it kinda has little power when it gets through first gear and now it revs to about 3k to get barely enough power to move, it also shakes too much and the check engine light is on, I don't have a CEL machine and I'm afraid to move the truck anymore, any help would be much appreciated, don't have much mechanical experience on working on it

 

Pre '96 vehicles check engine lights can be read without a scanner. Usually by using a paperclip or piece of wire to jump terminals.

I don't know the process for Toyota trucks, since I have a carbureted truck.

Does the motor itself shake or is it only when the truck is in motion?Make sure all your plugs and wires are in and check for spark on all.
