Anybody have a picture of a Hi-lux rear end? (pumpkin,etc) Did they have sealed bearings for each axle? I do not think my Stout has the period correct diff. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

The hilux trucks got a 7.5" F code or 8" G code. I can't recall bearing style but all the ones I have worked on looked the same except width. The stout may have had a different rear end. There's some guys here that know more a kit stouts. Many are in Aussieland and that area.

 

Bad picture but it looks like this. The manual I have shows a much different looking pumpkin. I also figured they would have sealed bearings.
