So i found a set of 2005 mustang 17x8 rims i want to run on my 91 yota single cab 2wd, i know the height of wheel and tire will clear but im curious if anyone knows if they will fit as is or will i need spacers since it a 8" wide rim with 45mm offset? Anyone run that width and offset?

Not sure what my offset is but mine are 18x9s. They tuck nicely and don't rub.

I ran 19x9 +40 and it only rubbed at a full turn.

Ok, sounds like it will fit, i just want to make sure before i go out and buy the rims. I will probably end up rolling my fenders, i just want to make sure the inside wont rub the leaf springs or a arms.

the only problem I had/have w/ my 17" mustang wheels is the barrel hitting the grease fitting for the top ball joint on the front wheels. I just took it out and plugged it.

Thats exactly what my issue was and i did the same thing. Lol made sure grease was topped off, stuck a stud with lock tight on and then grinded it down smooth. Fit good. Next step is 9mm spacers up front and 32mm in the rear. :)

I had a set of 18x8, with a +40 offset. Had to run a 1/4" spacer, and rubbed the inside fenderwel all the way turned. 235/45/18 tire.
