Hey all, names DeadBison. I just picked up a 1977 Hilux Long bed! I saw it and had to get it. I have named her Hellena due to the hell she is going to put me in, but it is going to hurt so good She is rough, lot of rust and it has been a long time since I have done any fabricating of any sorts. I am not going to lower her. Yeah i know, but I live in Missouri and some times the weather and roads do not work well. Plus she is going to be my everyday truck. But I do have plans for her, engine rebuild, Weber Carb and the odd ends and dress up in the engine. Also will be some slight mods to the body. Pictures will follow soon. Also I make my living as a artist so she might have some stuff on it as well.

Sounds like a fun new bucket of bolts. I have a 78 longbed. I love longbeds. They have that goofy coolness. I have lots of little parts if you're needs anything. Check my build for ideas too. I'm big on junk yar pimpin lol. I have a VW mirror, Datsun antenna, caddy rims, ford can dash sliders, dodge truck dash knobs, corolla seats, yada yada yada. It gets fun having something unique. Thanks ill keep that in mind! I have all ways liked toyotas and this my first one. Never had a wife that would let me get a project. The wife even went to help me find it, think she's a keeper she even wants to help.
