Hey guys, Like the title says I am looking some pictures of the oem 89-95 sliding rear window. I bought one used, deffently a Toyota because its marked on the glass, he "says" it was removed from a 93 standard cab but I am trying to identify the window before I go any further. Close ups of around the top and bottom gasket surfaces would be awsome. Thanks for your help!

Sorry dont have photos but your truck is a standard cab correct? Extra cab glass is bigger. Also the gaskets are different from solid to slider.

Thanks, yes, very helpful. The one I have doesnt have the lip at the bottom like you can see in the second to last picture. Not sure of the difference there. What year model was that truck in the pictures? Maybe some minor detail toyota changed over the years I hope.

Just looked and yah they are different so if yours doesn't look like mine and sits flush then it's standard cab. :waytogo:

Sounds good! The aluminum frame around mine is the same measurement all the way around, Looks like the xtra cab frame is slightly wider at the bottom giving it that extra lip or overhang seen in the picture. Thanks for helping me identify my window.

Got the back window installed and it works great. I actually have another sliding window with a bad frame but all the glass panes are in perfect shape and already removed from the frame. So if anyone has a factory rear slider and needs replacement glass I have all 4 panes. PM for more info

so you guys know 84-94 standard cab, 95-04 std cab, and 95-04 extended cabs, all use the same size glass and interchange with each other.

84-88 extra cab glass is model specific and wont interchange with any other truck.

89-94 extra cab glass is also model specific and wont interchange with any other truck.

Thanks for the info! The panes were from 93 standard cab so should fit lots of different models.

Glad to know 84-88 and 89-95 standard cab glass is the same. So I have a 84-95 flat window with seal if anybody needs it. Lol.
