89 4runner worked very well and the tilt still worked too.

Dont have mine anymore cause i got a SR5 cluster. But it was mounted on the right hand side of the steering colume cover. Not a bad spot.... but i would go with a larger tach up on the dash in front of me more. Had to look down a little far.

im only looking at a small 2" up to 8k... 11k seem a little bit exciting for my truck in fact 8k is still too far out of my reach:D

i read your write-up on the SR5 cluster, great work, really helpful. is it basically a bolt in modification?
if i could get my hands on one of them it might be the way to go!

    It is an autometer Phantom/white faced/chrome bezel 4 3/8"

Worked great I had originally had it in my 71' 510 on the column but it got moved into the 4runner
