I wanna get a chrome rear bumper for my truck. I always just took them off in the past but decided I like the look of a bumper since it's now what's different in the scene.

I currently have the all black diamond plate style battle bumper that the license plate mounts on. Way too plain for the back especially since my 84 truck has the OE chrome package up front (and the handles).

Since Toyotas rarely hit the bone yard I'm having a little bit of a hard time finding one. I see that most rangers have chrome rear bumpers and there's TONS of those at my local yard.

Has anyone tried swapping one on? Is it bolt on? I know anything can be made to fit but as of currently my home shop situation is very weak and I won't have the ability to do fab work til next year after I move.

It would really open up the options and be different. Any thoughts?

89-95 bumpers fit and look great. I had a chrome one on my old 84. Was there when I got it.

Those are probably the only direct bolt on huh? I am a fan of using OE toyota parts as upgrades. I have a lifted outback comprise of like 9 different subarus.

I'll just keep checking Craigslist and the yard then with my fingers crossed. I've seen a few online but the clean ones sell before I'm even off work to go pick it up.

Since you're semi-local ill keep my eyes open for a chrome 89-95 bumper for ya in snohomish county. Looking for any other 84-88 parts? I got a whole parts truck.

Well I picked up a chrome 86 4x4 bunper. Realized it's not a pot on without bracket mods.

I don't need any stock parts. My truck is pretty complete. Unless you have 4x4 rear bumper brackets?
