Hello everyone. I recently pick up a 1990 extended for fairly cheap, and came with a binder full of service records and receipts since late 90's, truck also has a fairly rebuilt motor with brand new head. I got it cheap since the auto transmission blew up but 410,000km's kinda explains why. this is my new project and will have a new build thread starting of it pretty soon.
I havent turned it on to try it when I looked at it, I pick truck up saturday and ill try it then, it won a few stereo comps a few years ago, it has 8 pheonix gold subs and 2 big amps unsure of make and power output. i'll post more pics this weekend of it when I get it.
just picked up a transmission today for $400, 300km of driving to pick up the only one I could find. wasnt able to pick up my truck today, but tomorrow is another day. should be driving my truck tomorrow evening is everything goes good.
Picked up my truck today, got it back to my friends farms and started to get the transmission out while its still on the trailer, so far have about $1300 invested so far in it, $800 for the truck, $400 for the new transmission and $100 in trans fluid, filters, and other odds and ends.
