i have a 78 toyota pickup. it has a 21r engine. i wan to buy a exhaust header for it. will the 20r and 22r headers fit? and if so. what is the best one for it?????????? thanks

 

I have the same issue I have the 21ru and I fixing to take the header of and put on the 22r

 

Don't know if you're still out there but the bolt pattern on the flange are different. 4 bolts along the bottom of the manifold for 20R and 5 for 22R. Or maybe that's only RE. Maybe someone can confirm

actually the early 22r and 20r is the same and the re is different

 

if you want a picture of a 22R header to compare to yours LMK, ive got one sitting right beside me i can snap pics of the whatever
