I lost fun with that years ago. When it gets too heavy my engine crossmember fills the engine bay with packed snow. It gets bad from there lol. I have thought about a belly skin, but I like the extra cooling to the engine bay being open. It's been just rainy again lately. Got it pretty sideways last night tho, decided I wasn't afraid of 10 foot deep ditches on a 2 lane farm road anymore. It's fun. Guy stopped tailgating me too haha.

Bolted a 1" master cylinder up to the big V6 booster and put a set of stainless braided brake lines on. Woot it stops NOW not 50' later. :D

The lines came with an 84 4x4 Toyota so they were about 6" too long but otherwise a direct fit. They are explorer pro comp from 4wheel parts warehouse. I was to do it from nothing I'd go with crown automotive. They aren't all that much more but they are nice.

Figured out what size adapters I'm going to need to run the BMW AC Schnitzer replica wheels on the truck.

I also removed the factory stripes. Last weekend I went to the DIY car wash to get the mud off my truck from all the construction going on in the neighborhood & the sprayer took off a number of spots on the decals.

Lastly I made an appointment to get the windows tinted next Thursday.

Well yesterday I got snowed in. Note the snow being higher than my sidewalls. I have a few huge hills to get to town so I didn't go anywhere. Here's a pic.

I can't take mine in the snow. Brakes are no good in it. And the engine crossmember splashes it all over my engine bay. So I rode shotgun for a day lol. My dodge is offline currently so no backup rig.

Pulled it out of the garage & gave it a wash. Looking forward to some fresh tint later this week & I should be ordering the wheel adapters after Christmas. I'm still working on polishing the lips on the wheels & getting ready to paint the centers dark gray.

I also washed the wife's 01 Landcruiser & put fresh Rain-X on so she can see.

Ha, it's too narrow to spin a longbed around out here. I stick to 40* side angles around wet curves. Doesn't chew up my tires like dry day sliding, so I don't do much of that on these tires. It's been years since I had 4 new tires so I wanna make them last a while.

I had swapped the carb on my 84 awhile back and while it ran well it acted exactly like the accelerator pump was shot. I hadn't been driving it since the 90 is m go kart so I had been ignoring the 84. Today I swapped the pump, readjusted the idle mixture, bumped up the idle and fixed the vacuum line routing that I hadn't paid attention to when I installed the carb. Problems solved, it runs fawking sweet now. :D

Also changed the fan clutch on my wifes '94 22re runner. Silly thing has been locked up since she got it this summer and I pulled the mechanical fan off of my '90 awhile back that worked perfectly so it was a natural decision.

Lips are being polished - 1 down (up to 1000 grit until I can pick up more 2000 grit), 3 to go. Hoping to have them prepped for paint so I can finish them this weekend.

Working on refinishing some 17x8" aftermarket BMW wheels right now. I'm going to need 1.25" adapters for them to fit right.

The next time it warms back up I need to hit the sides again with the polisher since I had to remove the factory decals. Once the wheels are on, I'll lower it & it will be done aside from some mechanical repairs.
