When I get mine from blazinrola I'll let you know, I bought his starion wheels a few weeks back and then I saw the thread noting the 4 different sizes - I assumed they were all one size before that little bit of information.
U want the non-SHP ones if your truck is lowered. 16x7's in the front and 16X8's in the rears. I'm not too sure about the offsets. There are a few guys here running them maybe one of them can chime in.
there are 2 sets of fronts. 16x7 with +18 offset 16x8 with +18 offset there are also 2 sets of rears 16x8 with -11 offset 16x9 with 0 offset i believe that you can run a set of 8's in the front with some minor, if any fender rolling depending on your drop. the rear is a bit more intriquite. i know for a fact a 16x9R will stick out. a 16x8R will likely still require lots of fender rolling and maybe some bedside stretching. but you should be able to run a 16x8F on the rear with no serious issues. this all greatly depends on the size tires you run as well. im running a 16x7F wrapped in 205/50/16 tires and 16x8R wrapped in 205/55/16 on my 86. the fronts cleared and tuck tires with minimal rubbing (untill i clear the inner fender wells out) and the rear, even with a 4x4 bed still tend to rub the sidewalls if i tuck them all the way to the wheels. ((i have air shocks so i lifted them till they stopped rubbing. wheel setup is only 50% of the issue..... tire choice will be the other half.
Man this is confusing! So I can safely run the 16x7's all the way around? I can safely run the 16x8F all the way around? So stay away from 16x8R's and 16x9's, correct? James
its not too confusing if you break it down 1 by one. each measurement i gave was one style of wheel. in total, they made 4 different wheels.
SD Yota is right in the sizes. James, You will be fine with the 16x7 all around. The 16x8 +18 and 16x9 +0 are very rare and people want a grip for them. The 16x7+18 and 16X8 -11 are easy to find but they are beat to hell sometimes. 4age turbo, Sorry to tell you this but you have 16x8s all around. The fact that your rim has 2 steps in the lip is the tell tale sign (along with the 16x8 stamped on the backside). The 16x9 rims have 1 step in the lip because the face of the rim is pushed out flush with the second lip. In fact, the 16x8 rear rim actually has a deeper dish and offset than the 16x9. I'm running 16x9 all around on my rig.
This helps but I still need to find some. Most people that have them live on the other side of the country which sucks. James
i was running 16 x7 up front 205-50-16 and the 16x8 215-55-16 out back id say my truck was low! and had no issues had to bang out the bak inorder to get her to sit the way she did..
Thanks.. yeah after I get my 4wd fenders and 4runner bumper maybe I'll drop 2 inches .. I'll probably need spacers for the front wheels for the 4wd fenders..
