possibly thinking about swapping in c4 corvette suspension, since i have the complete donor car... not a big fan of the stock torsion bars and then i gain rack and pinion, and better handling.. and probably some weight loss to since there is a lot of aluminum, anyone ever do it? did a google and a forum search, nothing. thanks

Closest thing to this swap if swapping the IFS out of a supra. I'm in the process of doing that exact thing right now. Not the easiest thing but possible.

Involves building your own frame. Are you going to be using the corvette motor? Corvette brake system?

Does the C4 front suspension come mounted on a subframe/k-member (Not sure how you'd do it if it weren't)? if so, you'll be adding weight going from no front subframe to some unless you cut off the front end of your frame (which is probably lighter than the whole k-member that you'll have to bolt to something still.
