when i was doing a tune up. taking out the spark plug, the plug had engine oil on it. so i was thinking engine oil leaking into the combustion camber. when driving, rpm drop once in great while. i know engine messing up my ignition system. i want to know how to fix this problem or suggestion what to do??? i have 22re motor....
either your valve stem seals are in need of replacement, or your rings are bypassing oil. does your truck smoke first thing in the morning on a cold start and go away as it warms up? or does it smoke all the time? does it smoke heavy when you get on it?
@sd yota smoke in the morning then goes away. @malesohomegrown compression test ill try it, let you know how it goes. today my motor die out in middle of the road. it took me awhile to start it up. i think that i not getting spark.
yer probably oil fouling the plugs. as homegrown said, do a comp test and see whats going on. if it smokes in the morning your valve stem seals are likely leaking. the comp test will let you know if yer rings are done though...
I found out my msd box wasn't working so I wasn't getting any spark to my plug. So I change everything to oem. Everything work fine for now. But I need to reinstall my tach but I don't know where the green wire go to. Any pictures will help me a lot.
