Well wekfest TX is coming around and I've been invited to show my truck in Houston so now the count down begins to finish all the interior trim and shave all the wholes in my bed and engine bay also a ball joint flip and I was wondering if there is anyone that knows if they make an air shock for the front of are truck that way I can still feel like I'm a static truck but when I roll into the show I can set it down lower than it is already any help would be greatly appreciated so drop your two cents if you got it
another guy and i were looking into running air shocks upfront but the issue is the shock mount itself. ill have to go trace up my notes and see what i can find.
I found air shocks for a 69 camaro and I've heard u can use them just need someone to validate if I'm right
ok so i didnt get the front on air but oh well it would require extending the upper shock mount beefing up the lower C-arm and running a tubular upper C-arm that way u could drop your truck static as low as u like but be able to give it a little lift to get over things but to spend that kinda money just for air shocks i say fu(k that. rather do custom coilover setup or supra front cradle or better yet sc400 front and rear like i want and be done anyway rambling on rear is done thou and its good for now
and now the good stuff i made it to (Wekfest) -Houston,TX for there Kings of the South show and entered the truck. It showed well with all the stanced cars, every time i walked by my truck i couldn't see the front of it because of the herds of people standing taking pictures. Had at least 30 people come up to me wanting to play 20 questions telling me how much the liked seeing the truck, they had never seen anything like it and were told they couldn't run a carb like that and how did i do it so they could correct the person that told them otherwise, it was great i had a blast ill post the pics soon got some great ones of the truck
